Please provide the URL to a BitKeeper repository. Two forms of URL are supported: a gzipped tar file of the BitKeeper repository, or a URL to a bkd operating under a commercial license (which includes any repository on the bkbits.net website). For the tar file method, the unpacked tar should contain a single directory which contains one BitKeeper repository. If you have a repository "myrepo", you can make a gzipped tar file by changing to the directory containing "myrepo" and executing "tar czf myrepo.tar.gz myrepo". Put the resulting tar file, myrepo.tar.gz, on to a public webserver such that BitMover can get the file with wget. Then enter the URL for the tar file below. Example URL: http://myserver.com/myrepo.tar.gz NOTE: The repository may have work in progress (pending deltas, and edited files). The conversion process will start out by making a cset by user "cvsexport". That way, pending work will be included in the resulting CVS repository. NOTE: Extra files will be ignored. Extra files are new files which have not been checked in. CVS Export requests are processed sequentially and should be completed within 48 hours of your request. Your BitKeeper tar file must therefore remain available during that time. The URL to your newly exported CVS repository will be mailed to you upon completion. This URL will be that of a compressed tar archive, made up of a unique name which, although difficult to guess (it is a md5 checksum), will nonetheless remain available publicly on our webserver for some time. NOTE: If you have _any_ problems getting your repository converted, please contact support@bitmover.com. | ||||
